FAQs

As we build our client base we will feature frequently asked questions to help you as quickly as possible with any of your inquiries. If you have any questions please leave a comment below and/or contact us by phone or e-mail.

Q:  What are your hours?

A: Our hours are specific to what is convenient for you based on time slots available. Contact us to set up an appointment and set weekly sessions.

Q: How much do your services cost?

A: MAPS Physical Therapy is currently an Out-of-Network Provider for all insurances. This means that for those with out-of-network insurance coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company.

Insurance reimbursement varies depending on your plan.  For, example, your out-of-network coverage may be 80/20 after meeting a deductible.  This means that if you have a $500 deductible, after you pay the $500, your insurance will cover 80% of the reasonable and customary rate, and you will be responsible to pay the other 20% plus any remaining balance.

Call us to confirm your insurance benefits for physical therapy services.

Q: Up to what age do you work with children?

A: MAPS Physical Therapy works with children from birth to 20 years old. (Please note, we also work with adults.)

Q: What does a physical therapist actually do?

Upon initial appointment, we evaluate and assess an individual to develop a course of care. Our goal is to promote each of our client’s functionality by focusing on:

  • mobility
  • pain reduction
  • restoring function
  • preventing further injury and or/ disability

We provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, gross motor activities, modalities, and wellness oriented activities to help improve function and prevent loss of mobility. Depending on individual needs we may use different techniques to promote appropriate function, movement, and the goals listed above.
